Speech development disorders are not uncommon in young children. The cause here often lies in overworking or underworking the not yet fully developed brain. Here it is important to support the child gently, never overreacting. The child should not be made to feel stupid or untalented. Later language inhibitions, language disorders and even autism can possibly be favored.
